We are creatures of habit. We like to know what we know. We like to wake up in the morning and find the world more or less the way we left it the night before.
There’s nothing wrong with liking the familiar, the habitual, the repetitive. Until we normalize it, make it the default position, the way the world should work, the way things were designed to be. When that happens, we have a problem, because that is not how the world works. Nothing stays the same forever.
Truth and Love can be found in the predictable, but they cannot be limited by it.
