Moses. Jesus. Mohammed. The Buddha.
The difference between the masters and the rest of us is not that they were born with a larger vision of God’s dream for them and for the world. In each instance, there came a time when they discovered that their initial understanding of what Life had in store for them and the people around them was too small, too limited. Then they cooperated, submitted, and something new was born.
The questions – and the invitation they carry – are on the table for each of us: what are the things we know and ignore anyway? What is the cost we have paid for pretending to be someone or something we weren’t? After you locate yourself in the Grand Vision, what happens then?
